Overload

So I don't know if I'm going to have time to work on the Star Wars fan film. I'm still attempting, but I've since gone back to the day job, and my semester starts in about a week.

I'm crossing my fingers that I can find a way to get it all done, but I'm also directing a feature that needs to be in production already, and I'm writing/directing a web series that is set to start as soon as we get the thing cast.

Oh, and I'm also directing my wife's web series. That's another project.

It's looking more and more like the fan film is not going to happen. We'll see...

Slowly I turn(over)...

I haven't had time to work on any of my own shots lately, seeing as how I've been in a fight with my SW:TF assignment, and I've also been called back to my day job.

Those long workin' nights have been put on hold, so I finish whatever I can between getting home and collapsing in a heap for the night.

On the plus side, I believe I've found the proper outlet for the new web series I'm directing. More on that soon.

It's official...

I got my first shot assignment for "Star Wars: The Forgotten" today. Crossing my fingers. Wish me luck...

A new project...

So I got in touch with Douglas Mallette - writer/director of the feature-length Star Wars fan film "Star Wars: The Forgotten" - the other day, and it looks like I may be jumping on board his post-production train and getting some compositing work in. Still in the works, but it seems like a pretty definite thing.

I'll probably post some thoughts as it goes along - without discussing specifics, of course - until the film is out.

Sounds like a lot of work, but I'm always up for a challenge. Especially with a full month before the fall semester starts up...

Lots of very thorough concept work available for perusal, and fun stuff like character descriptions, etc.
